Lawyer to join our team in Larnaca:
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and handling corporate legal matters (including inter alia intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues etc.)
- Administering the set-up, liquidation and ongoing legal matters for entities in different jurisdictions
- Liaising directly with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies and other national and governmental abd regulatory bodies
- Providing guidance on corporate law and regulatory matters and conduct legal research on such topics
- Drafting of all types of legal documents and agreements
- Reviewing contracts, transactions and operational matters to guarantee their legal compliance
- Drafting inter alia resolutions/minutes, loan agreements, shareholders agreements, share purchase agreement
- Drafting of legal opinions in relation to compliance and corporate matters
Requirements:
- University Degree in Law
- Master’s degree in law or relevant field will be considered as an advantage
- Member of Cyprus Bar Association
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Excellent proficiency of the English and Greek language (oral and written).
- Excellent knowledge of corporate law
- Ability to work as part of a team of diverse professionals
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to use critical judgement
- Highly attentive to detail.
